Holiday Activities & Food Programme (HAF)

Supporting you and your family

When it comes to holiday camps, it’s our belief that every child should have the opportunity to experience a range of fun, exciting, and educational activities – which is why we love to deliver the Holiday Activities and Food Programme (HAF).

Over 18,400 parents have reviewed their child’s experience with Premier Education. They’ve given kind reviews about our coaches and our range of activities, but, most of all, they’ve loved the joy our holiday camps bring to their children every school break.

What is the Holiday Activities and Food Programme?

It’s often referred to as ‘HAF’!

The HAF programme offers free school holiday sessions, healthy food, and enriching activities for children all day long. Funding for HAF holiday camps is available in every single Local Authority in England, so you access the programme no matter where in the country you are!

We’ve been delivering action-packed holiday camps for over 20 years, during which we’ve formed strong relationships with Local Authorities and venues across the country. Through these relationships and our experience, we’ve been able to deliver HAF courses every Easter, Summer, and Winter school holidays since 2021 – helping thousands of children to experience the fun they deserve.

Resources for parents:

We have plenty for children to do at home, as well as support for families from signposting to health recipes, all for free!

Who is the HAF programme for?

Eligibility, funding, and finding your local authority

The HAF programme funding is primarily for school aged children from Reception all the way up to Year 11. The easiest way to find out if your child is eligible is if they receive benefits-related free school meals (FSM). Benefits-related free school meals are available to pupils if their parents are in receipt of one of the qualifying benefits and have a claim verified by their school or local authority.

If you are unsure if you are eligible for the HAF programme you should contact your local authority directly.

Do all of your courses accept HAF provision?

Finding the course that works for you

Not all of our holiday camp sessions are eligible for HAF provisions – some courses are specific to individual schools or are only available to book through the relevant Local Council websites. Use our course search below to search for all of our holiday camp sessions.

Can’t find the venue you’re looking for? Try asking either your child’s school or your local authority.
