What to Expect From a Premier Education Winter Holiday Camp

It can be tricky to keep the children entertained over the school holidays at any time of the year, but it’s especially difficult in winter.

With the kids holed up indoors, they aren’t getting as much exercise as they should be. It’s important for children to stay active through the winter season, keeping just as active as they would in summer.

Premier Education provide the perfect solution with winter holiday camps across England, giving kids the chance to play, take part in a wide range of exciting activities, learn new skills and meet new friends during the school break – all while giving you a mini-break of your own!

What to expect

Our multi activity camps give children an action-packed half-term of fun games, sport, and arts and crafts – whether they’re indoors or outside.

Finding ways to keep kids active during the school holiday can be hard, but that’s where we come in. All students between the ages of 4 and 12 are welcome to join us for games, activities and adventure that will boost their confidence, improve their skills and help them make new friends.

Despite the frosty weather, a winter camp is just as much fun as a summer camp!

Christmas holiday camps

Our expert coaches put a festive spin on classic team games like netball and volleyball, turning them into Christmas pudding netball and fly the sleigh volleyball, and have a wide range of fun ideas and activities for kids to try.

We encourage kids to stay active, be creative, and most of all, to have fun. We have dodgeball to get the heart racing and keep the cold away, and if the weather is very poor, there are a number of other indoor activities we provide to keep every child entertained.

Our camps run through  much of the Christmas break (they’re closed Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day). Parents can book individual days or larger blocks of time depending on their requirements, with flexi-booking available. Children simply need to come armed with a water bottle, weather-appropriate clothing and lunch.

Half term holiday camps

Whether you’re looking for a more autumnal October half term holiday camp or looking to the year ahead for February, Premier Education could provide a place for your child at one of our activity camps.

While the festive theme of the Christmas camp doesn’t apply here, our other winter camps give kids the chance to try out a multitude of sports and activities, with activities that can be held indoors, like dodgeball, gymnastics and archery, a great option for days where the weather is poor.

All of our camps are run by expert, highly-trained coaches that are able to blend exercise and fun effortlessly in their activity plans, and allow children to have a great time being active. Most importantly, they make your kid’s winter school holiday a memorable one!

Benefits of joining a Premier Education holiday camp in winter

Kids stay active while having fun!

Research has found that on average, kids exercise 30% less in winter. Our holiday camps focus on making sure kids have fun, staying active naturally happens at the same time.

It’s a great opportunity to make friends

With less light in the afternoons, there is less opportunity for kids to safely socialise. Our winter holiday camps give kids the chance to socialise with kids their age while school has broken up.

Kids learn new skills while on school break

Whether it’s a new sport or a sport they already enjoy, our holiday camps give kids the chance to develop their skills further with the guidance of our expert activity professionals.
