Summer holidays should be about long days, new adventures and a bit of a break from the routine. But we know that for a lot of working families, the six-week holiday brings a different kind of headache: who’s looking after the kids, and how much is it going to cost?
Recent research puts the average cost of holiday childcare at close to £180 a week per child, and for many families that’s on top of everything else summer brings – days out, new trainers, school uniforms. It adds up fast.
So this summer, we wanted to do something about it.
We’re giving away £1 million in free childcare this summer. That’s 30,000 free days at Premier holiday clubs, funded by us, for the families who’ve been with us all year.
Every single child currently enrolled in one of our Wraparound Care or Enrichment Clubs will receive a ticket before schools break up for summer, giving them one free day at any Premier holiday club, worth up to £34. That includes families right across our network. And anything left over will be handed out to our other families for an extra fun free day at our holiday clubs.
If you haven’t experienced one yet, our holiday clubs are built to keep kids active, sociable and having a genuinely good time – think multi-sport games, arts and crafts, team challenges and plenty of the sort of running-around-outside energy that makes bedtime easier. Days run at your child’s own school or a nearby venue, led by our trained Premier staff, with breakfast and afternoon club options available too. It’s proper summer fun, with the reassurance of a provider you already know and trust.
Tickets can be redeemed for any day at a Premier holiday club running in July or mid-August. Simply book using your unique code at premier-education.com/1-million-summer.
One thing to keep in mind: codes must be redeemed by 23:59 on 14 August 2026, so don’t leave it too late to grab your date.
