Careers from Coaching
We spoke to two senior team members who joined us as coaches to ask about their journey.
Premier Education’s network has over 1000 coaches. Maybe it is the satisfaction of seeing children improve, maybe it is the ability to get active and outside for a living, or maybe it is our flexible and fair working hours. Whatever the reason, coaching is one of the most rewarding careers out there, and Premier Education is home to one of the biggest networks of coaches in the UK.
Established in 1999, Premier Education offers a large support network to all coaches, or Activity Professionals as we like to call them, who work for us, upholding our established, recognised and trusted brand, supporting 2500 schools with their sports provision.
Whether you are just getting started or you are looking for the next progression, joining us is only the first step.
From entry to degree level and beyond, you will be able to unlock your full potential with a career at Premier Education. We offer all our coaches quality training through our sister company, Train With Premier.
When you join Premier Education, you benefit from our official partnerships with some of the largest sporting NGBs in the UK. Our coaches are eligible for exclusive and bespoke training in a range of sports. Check out our current partnerships.
Premier Education has access to some of the best training programmes in the country through Train With Premier.
Our career pathways provide the opportunity to join us as a trainee and work your way right to the top as a franchisee.
Thanks to recent government incentives for traineeships we have many more opportunities available this year and we’d love you to be part of the team!
Traineeships are ideal if you want to move into a job or apprenticeship but you do not currently have the skills and experience that employers are looking for. If you have been unsuccessful in applying for an apprenticeship or job role in the past you may find a traineeship helps give you the skills and confidence you need to move on.
To be eligible to start a government funded traineeship, you must be aged 16-18, be a UK or EEA Citizen or have a settled status with no restrictions, be unemployed, not hold a qualification above level 3 and not have undertaken a similar programme before.
Inevitably, we want all our activity professionals to love what they do! Their passion for sport and getting kids active should be visible to everyone they meet. Children love going to their next class or their next holiday camp because of our coaches, because of the relationships that are built and because of the confidence our coaches instil in the children they teach!
Having such a positive effect of the children of this country is something to be truly proud of and goes hand in hand with the Premier Education core values!
We are always looking for motivated individuals like you to join our team of coaches to run sports, arts and personal development sessions. Join us today on our mission to improve children’s health and personal development across the country.
