Tag rugby is simple, straightforward fun which brings all the excitement of traditional rugby, without the usual rough and tumble. This sport is all about catching, throwing and kicking the ball, all whilst dodging players on the other team. It’s fast-paced and every member of the team plays an important role – there’s never a dull moment!

Tag rugby gives you all the speed and excitement of traditional rugby, but without the rough and tumble that would usually come with it. Instead of tackling their opponents to the floor, players simply grab the tag from their side to reclaim the ball. It takes loads of teamwork and communication to win, so be ready to make some new friends.

As well as being much safer than contact rugby, this game teaches respect and communication – you’ll need to listen out from the ref to know what’s going on. No previous rugby experience is needed to get enjoyment from tag rugby, as our coaches will teach your child all the rules. We keep it simple and straightforward so everybody can dive straight into the fun.
