Premier Education

The safety of children in our care is paramount.

As the UK’s No. 1 provider of sport and physical activity to primary school children for over 20 years, we are determined to continue providing first-class support to parents and their children during Covid-19 and beyond.

This commitment has meant we have had to adapt our provision, our delivery, and our procedures to ensure activities can continue in a fun, engaging and SAFE way!

Here, we outline 4 of the ways we are continuing to support you and your child.

Advanced Training

We will be levelling up our training to include the completion of an accredited course, the Transcend Level 2 Award in Infection Prevention, Mitigation and Management, for all Premier Education Activity Professionals. The safety and health of the children in our care, school staff and our coaches is our No. 1 priority.

Increased Hygiene

Working with the school venues, we will be conducting risk assessments of the setting and also be agreeing on enhanced hygiene measures. This will include more frequent handwashing, zoned areas of work and activity and no sharing of equipment.

Smaller Groups

We will be working with a ratio of 1:10 Activity Professionals to children for the under 8 year olds, and 1:12 for children aged 8-12 years of age, allowing the 2m social distancing rule to be acknowledged at all times during the delivery of activities in assigned areas.

Each group will operate as a ‘bubble’ during each day of the Holiday Camp.

Reduced Activities

We have streamlined our offering to facilitate safe engagement and delivery of each activity. Wherever possible, we will deliver activities outside and we will provide each child with their own allocated space in which to work in, allowing the 2m social distance to be applied.
